Happy Holidays from ET

The ET members and officers wish everyone a happy and safe holiday. Please drink responsibly.

ICC10: Again sir, but no wipes

Same team, same time, same dungeon, but no wipes...No wipes at new content on the second try. I'm not even going to ruin this article by saying Pinata, or farm or face-roll. This is just simple and well orchestrated toon-play. An impressive display of wits, intelligence, situational awareness, tank and taunt, heals and big dps. Awesome work guys. See you all next week.

ICC10: Jet-packs, blood-puppies & battleship adventures

Blizzard, you out did yourself. ET's face-rolling group takes a crack at some new content and makes some serious progress. Congrats everyone on 'da fine loots and the clearing the first 4 bosses of ICC10.

Faction Chumps Downed - ToC25 Cleared

The Faction Champions have been challenging ET of late, but last night they were defeated with some new strat application. ET raiders continued to 'blow through' ToC25 face-rolling the remaining bosses as we moved forward. While I will refrain from using the word 'pinata', Shopper smells gear candy in ToC25 for ET. : ) Congratulations to last nights raiders. Photos are at Walgreens® getting developed.

11.18: Face Roll'n Wednesday

I may have used 'face-roll' in other posts, but this past Wednesday was utterly and completely broken. Starting at 8pm, 10 raiders burned through ToC10, Ony10, Saph+3 (Includes, 2 attempts at Ony whelp achievement and 2 serious attempts at ToC10 hard mode) all by 10:30. After which, turning our heads to Uld10 for some more facroll'n for some guildees. Uld10 resulted in some of us getting 6+ Achievements of the best kind...(Achievements I was not trying for)

*Shopper is a priest specced as 'holy' of the dps listing above.

11/17: Oh Dear, Hodir.

In the Halls of Winter something went 'boom'. Oh yeah. It was the full sized Titanic watcher going down! HOO-RA! Congrats to all the raiders who partook in downing this fine boss. Special thanks to Areoseos for calling out and keeping us in step with some finer and timely actions. Grats to Judeca for unleashing a truckload of dps on Hodir (rumor is it was 10k+) Apologies for the late photos, looting warnings on some of the photos. Also note since Hodir 'does not' leave a body, we stood around his freed spirit on the circular pillar.

Loot Pinatas and Face-rolls: They come in twos, (Sometimes threes)

After a week of vacation, a week of latent work piling on my desk and someone in the IC calling me 'slacker', I thought I add a Shopper ET update.

Progression fun has been going smooth and steady. Recently ET added two ToC10 groups (Wed & Sunday) to the progression rotations. Supported and run by two die-hard raiders: Judeca and Supplement - good work guys. The loot has been exploding like candy. Yes, I said candy. (I have not had pinata dreams in a while.) Our two teams are moving through ToC10 with time to spare for an Ony10 and OS10 (3 drakes up) for the mount and title. HOO-RAH! And while I have not gotten one, this means 2 shiny drakes are being handed out each week.

TOC10: On Farm? Almost

No, ToC10 is not on farm but it is content that can be burned through in 90 minutes. As of this week, ET has 2 groups doing ToC10 content. While this is not huge as a single event, it is: 1) allowing ET raiders to upgrade gear 2) build up decent amounts of Triumph badges and 3) ultimately progress forward. Keep up the good work.

10.22: Onyxia 25 Downed

Wyrmbog: 25 people were challenged to do what 10 ET'er accomplished 20 days ago. The Broodmother was again taken down by 25 raiders. Congrats to 25 Peeps that participated in last nights Ony kill. Again, no mount, but some decent items, most notable again was the 'Sack of gems' that had 1 gem in it.

10.02: Onyxia 10 Downed

You drug me out in Wyrmbog for this? What's in the 'Sack O' Gem(s)' [sinister cackle]. The Broodmother was decimated by the advance 10 man raiders last night on 10/2. Congrats to 10 Peeps that participated in last nights Ony kill. No mount, but some decent items, most notable was the 'Sack of gems' that had 1 gem in it. Blizzard, rename it or put more gems in it! A special thanks goes out for experienced Ony killer Aereos for guiding our sorry asses to victory.

Auriaya Downed

09.10.2009: After she rounded the Observation Ring, her cats were blown up and she went down like a bag of sand. Sadly, I was not there with my insta-matic to capture this fine defeat. This is a late post but is a good post no matter how you slice it. Congrats ET.

09/24: ToC cleared in Regular 10-man

What started out to be single 10man idea, lead to the complete clear of ToC10man. Not only did tier 9 loot drop off Northrend Beasts, Jaraxxus, Faction Champs, Twin Valkyr and Anubarak but at the finish of the run each guy and gal had 15 Triumph badges. Not too shabby. -- Congrats to those fine raiders.

Freya 25: Downed.

Thursday, 09/18: The fight took place in a lush oasis-like valley inside Ulduar. She called her elders for aid, but it was not enough for ET raiders. Congratulations ET and congratulations to Bost on another Shard for his legendary collection. She left no corpse, so a generic photo is on the way.

ET Downs Lord Jaraxxus

Thursday 09/10: Lord Jaraxxus has 20.2 million hit points? Maybe, but it wasn't enough to save his soul from the horde of ET raiders this past week. [photo forthcoming]

25 TOC: Northrend Beasts Downed a Second Time

The score is ET 2, Gormik the Impaler 0, Acidmaw 0, Dreadscale 0, and Icehowl 0. Congratulations ET on good work and phat lootz.

Skadi gives up da Drake

Wed, 09/02. Skadi the Ruthless at Utgarde Pinnacle gave our 5 man the opportunity to roll on the "Reins of the Blue Proto-Drake. Congratulations Silvercircle on your new flying mount. She's a real beauty! Updated on 9/15 with photos.

Iggy Junior Dead.

ET had the pleasure of engaging the new Season 7 (patch 3.2) boss of Vault of Achavon last night - Koralon the Flame Watcher. Iggy Junior(kindly nicknamed by ET's Supplement) went down last night (09/03) to the raiders who endured the raid-wide Burning Breath, Flaming Cinders and general Meteoric Fisting. While there was geniune satisfaction on the kill, the raid had an overall dissatisfaction by the loot being all PVP gear. No picture was taken due to our quick rez and loot prior to the Wintergrasp timer running out.

Iron Council Down

As of last Thursday 8/13, the Iron Council went down to the ET Raiding party. I apologize for this late post, it was eclipsed by Gencon activities. Photo added 9/15

The sweet smell of Gencon....

There will be a pretty decent chunk of ET members at Gencon this year. Some will be poking around Thurs and Fri, and most will be there on Sat and Sun. If you want to meet us, we usually will start the morning off at Steak n Shake 1 hour prior to the opening of Hall-D (the Largets Area at Gencon)

Happy Patch Day: 3.2 is going live!

Confirmed by MMO-Champion. Update your add-ons, get your new recipes (and more than I care to re-list.) I'm sure most people are as excited as I am (except DKs) to hear that 3.2 is officially on for today's maintance process from Blizzard. Enjoy your new stuff and have a fun and safe Patch day.

Ulduar Update: Furnace Master Falls

07.28.09: Ignis Downed. Within his lair, his sad demise was set forth by raiders to make his slag-pot his own 'crotch pocketed' dirt nap. His fire was no consequence but his loot was fair conquest. Starting off strong to the raiding week was excellent momentum for ET. Tuesday night began on a high note by leaving 2 towers up for Flame Levi - Our raiders enjoyed the new spin on an old encounter. The nights bonus loot was the 3x Valanyr shards which dropped. - Congratulations Bostaurus. Anyone watching this blog will note that we are downing 1 new Uld Boss a week. Even with changes of patch 3.2, that's excellent progression in any guild's book.

EOE Malygos 25

07.17.09. This is post from the past, but the facts still remain the same. 25 raiders went to Eye of Eternity and one large blue dragon (aka Malygos) went downtown.

Ulduar Under Construction: Kologarn Downed

07.21.09: After beating him with his own arms, 25 ET raiders rebuilt the Shattered Walkway with the construct corpse of Kologarn this week.

Naxx25: The New Loot-Pinata for ET

The new milestone for ET (as of this Tuesday 06/23/09) was to ability to fully sweep Naxx25 in 'one single' night.  Personally, this means Naxx25 is officially on farm status allowing members to inch out their side-grades.  More importantly as ET grows, we can shower our new members with newer and better epics as we continue our beating upon Ulduar.

Ulduar deaths.

With spring blooming in full force we took a 3 week hiatus from 25-man raiding. As the Elders washed away the cold and grim from a dank and chilly winter, we entered Ulduar full of renewed vigor and force. Entering into Ulduar we see that we are not the first to set foot inside it's massive halls,Brann Bronzebeard and Explorer's League have already set up camp. Needing our help to traverse the Formation Grounds we quickly take control of the mighty vehicles and head for Mimiron's construction "Flame Leviathan". Having under estimated the power of the Elders we quickly make work of this deadly machine.

Moving forward past the the great door we enter into a hall that was build for the massive Titans. Taking a moment to catch our breaths in the wonders to await us we move forward until we come to a group of the Explores trying to take down the once mighty mount of Thorim, Veanus. This great drake captured and corrupted by Ignis himself is now just a former shell of herself and simply known as Razorscale. Working along side of the Explores we quickly work at getting her grounded so that we may relieve her of this torment.

Moving further down the hall toward the enter most parts of Ulduar. We run into another of Mimiron's construction, XT-002 Deconstructor. Knowning that this machine guards the door to the great riches that await us further on, we slowy move in to remove the threat. Upon first enganging this thing, we are all stuned in shock as we come to relized that "it" believes that it is alive and a simple boy and that we are it's new "toys". The Elders quickly shake off the intial surprise and break into formation. The "boy" does not last long.

Over come with exhaustion, lack of supplies and wounds that needed further treatment, we decided to stop our advancment into Ulduar. We leave with a feeling of elation knowing that the secrets of Ulduar will not be secrets for much longer and that Yogg-Saron rain will soon end.

Ulduar 25 update

This past week saw us 25 strong and a forray into Naxx25 (Full Clear) and then Ulduar25. In Ulduar we downed Razorscale and Deconstructor for the first time ever. Two new bosses in one night!
